At the first CMA of Texas Awards Show held in The Woodlands at the Cresent Moon, after having become officially recognized by the State of Texas as a registered non-profit, a new era had begun! The list of recipients below includes 8 “Hall of Fame Inductees” as had been the practice through the years. Two years later, the Directors decided to cease the practice of creating a Hall of Fame and instead became closely associated with the Texas Country Music Hall of Fame in Carthage, TX.
