The 2021 CMA of Texas Awards Show was finally held on Wednesday, March 31, and it was a very fine affair!!! Many photos are forthcoming.
And a special thanks to all of those who helped to produce the event: my family - Nancy and Wayne Rawls, and Rodney and Barbara Bates. A huge debt of gratitude is owed to the owners (Rusty and Misti) of Cook's Garage, who have hosted the awards show from the beginning in our venture into the West Texas music scene.
There is much to be thankful for in ALL of the TOP-NOTCH ARTISTS who graciously agreed to attend the Awards and perform! What a night of excellent music, and creative artistry at its finest.
Stone Studio Productions from Houston provided the sound, and managed the staging of all the artists, which is a large task in and of itself.
We loved seeing our friends and fans of the artists. However, it seems like the evening goes by way too fast and we never get to spend enough time with everyone...until we meet again.

At the first CMA of Texas Awards Show held in The Woodlands at the Cresent Moon, after having become officially recognized by the State of Texas as a registered non-profit, a new era had begun! The list of recipients below includes 8 "Hall of Fame Inductees" as had been the practice through the years. Two years later, the Directors decided to cease the practice of creating a Hall of Fame and instead became closely associated with the Texas Country Music Hall of Fame in Carthage, TX.
